The article "30 Years of simultaneous crop & land cover land use maps for Middle Rio Grande from 1994 to 2024" presents a 30-year (1994–2024) high-resolution crop and land cover dataset for the Middle Rio Grande region, developed using Landsat imagery and deep learning, to support environmental monitoring, land management, and policy planning.
The article "Declining Hydrologic Resilience and Thresholds in the Amazonian Ecoregions. The article shows that successive droughts (2005, 2010, 2015/16) and deforestation across Amazonian ecoregions is driving declines in hydrologic resilience, with thresholds of forest loss leading to disrupted rainfall recycling and greater drought vulnerability.
